Dr Loren Mowszowski

Dr Loren Mowszowski is a nationally registered Clinical Neuropsychologist with specialised skills and training in neuropsychological assessment as well as cognitive rehabilitation.

Loren works in private practice and is also an established early career researcher at the Brain and Mind Centre, University of Sydney, holding a nationally competitive postdoctoral Dementia Research Development Fellowship from the National Health and Medical Research Council and the Australian Research Council.

Loren’s research focuses on developing and evaluating clinically-relevant neuropsychological interventions (including cognitive training) and psychoeducation programs targeting modifiable risk factors for dementia, and she leads this research stream within the specialised Healthy Brain Ageing Program at the Brain and Mind Center.

Loren has particular interest and experience working with adults (over 18 years) and older adults with health conditions including depression, anxiety, mild cognitive impairment, various types of dementia and Parkinson’s disease. Loren is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society. She provides clinical and research (postgraduate) supervision as well as lecturing and examining for the University of Sydney and Macquarie University.
