Consultations are usually one hour. The clinician will discuss the fee with you prior to booking the appointment.

If you have a referral from your GP under a Mental Health Care Plan or from a Psychiatrist you will be able to make a Medicare claim. Medicare can provide a rebate for services provided by a psychologist for up to 10 sessions within a calendar year.

You are able to see a Psychologist without a referral; you only need a referral if you wish to claim a Medicare rebate.

Some private health funds provide rebates for psychological services; please check with your individual health fund.
